GIULIO
POTTERY STUDIO

Giulio Camposano founded Giulio Pottery Studio in 2021, starting as a self-taught potter in his small apartment, where he first discovered the wheel and the tactile beauty of working with clay. The following two years were marked by intense experimentation, technical dedication, and deep research into glazes and ceramic materials.
In 2023, after this formative journey, Giulio took part in Milan Design Week, showcasing a selection of his works at Superstudio in Via Tortona.
After another year as an independent ceramicist—during which he produced several collections and led workshops across Northern Italy, between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta—he began collaborating with Momento Ceramics, an atelier led by Tessa Donati, based in Locarno and Lugano, Switzerland.
This collaboration marked a turning point in Giulio’s career. It was within this context that he developed his first collection to fully embody his artistic identity: the Brutalist Collection.
After months of research, testing, and hands-on creation, this collection emerged as a tribute to the materials, tones, and architectural language of Brutalism, reimagined through elegant, minimalist ceramic forms that nod to Japanese simplicity and aesthetic restraint.
