TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of products from Giulio Pottery Studio.

By accessing this website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The business operates under the Italian flat-rate tax regime (“Regime Forfettario”). VAT is not applied pursuant to applicable Italian tax law.

2. PRODUCTS

All products sold on this website are handmade and produced in small batches or made to order.

Due to the artisanal nature of the work, slight variations in shape, texture, glaze, color, dimensions, and finish may occur. These characteristics are not considered defects but part of the uniqueness of each piece.

Product photos are intended to represent the item as accurately as possible. Minor differences may occur due to lighting, screen settings, and handmade production.

3. ORDERS

Once an order is placed, the customer will receive an order confirmation email.

Giulio Pottery Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of:

  • incorrect pricing or technical errors;

  • suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions;

  • product unavailability;

  • incomplete customer information.

If payment has already been processed, the customer will receive a full refund.

4. PRICES & PAYMENTS

All prices are displayed in EUR unless otherwise specified.

VAT is not applied under the Italian flat-rate tax regime.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Stripe;

  • PayPal;

  • Apple Pay;

  • Google Pay;

  • major debit and credit cards;

  • bank transfer where available.

Payments are securely processed through third-party providers. Giulio Pottery Studio does not store payment card information.

5. SHIPPING

Orders are shipped from Italy using selected courier services including UPS, FedEx, DHL, Poste Italiane, or equivalent providers.

Estimated delivery times generally range between 3 and 15 business days depending on destination, customs processing, and courier operations.

Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Worldwide shipping is available.

Customers outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All shipments are insured.

6. DAMAGED PARCELS

If a parcel arrives damaged, the customer must contact Giulio Pottery Studio as soon as possible and provide:

  • at least 3 clear photographs of the damaged parcel and product;

  • photographs of the packaging;

  • any information required for the shipping insurance claim.

Once the documentation is received and verified, Giulio Pottery Studio will proceed as soon as possible with either:

  • a replacement product, where possible; or

  • an appropriate solution depending on product availability.

Failure to provide the requested documentation may prevent insurance claims from being processed.

7. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Customers located in the European Union have the right to request a return within 14 days from delivery.

To request a return, customers must contact:

Return conditions:

  • products must be unused and returned in original packaging where possible;

  • return requests made after 14 days from delivery may not be accepted;

  • return shipping costs are covered by Giulio Pottery Studio;

  • shipping costs originally paid by the customer are non-refundable;

  • only the product price will be refunded.

Custom-made or personalized items may not be eligible for return in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

Order cancellations are accepted before shipment.

8. MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

Some products, including lamps and selected ceramic works, are produced on a made-to-order basis.

Production times may vary depending on workload, availability, firing schedules, and material supply.

Estimated timelines communicated to customers are indicative.

9. ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS & LAMPS

All lamps sold by Giulio Pottery Studio are assembled using CE-certified electrical components.

Electrical assemblies are handcrafted using certified sockets, cables, and related components compliant with applicable European standards.

Customers must use electrical products according to the intended use and local electrical regulations.

Giulio Pottery Studio shall not be liable for damages resulting from:

  • improper installation;

  • misuse;

  • unauthorized modifications;

  • incompatible electrical systems.

Additional technical and safety information may accompany each lamp.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including:

  • photographs;

  • product designs;

  • logos;

  • branding;

  • texts;

  • graphics;

  • visual identity;

is the intellectual property of Giulio Pottery Studio unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Giulio Pottery Studio shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages;

  • delays caused by couriers or customs authorities;

  • force majeure events;

  • website interruptions or technical issues beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights granted under mandatory consumer protection laws.

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

SHIPPING POLICY

Orders are shipped from Italy using selected international courier services.

Estimated delivery times range between 3 and 15 business days depending on destination and courier operations.

All shipments are insured.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees required by their country.

Once an order has shipped, customers will receive tracking information.

Delivery delays caused by customs, weather conditions, or couriers are outside the control of Giulio Pottery Studio.

If a package arrives damaged, customers must provide at least 3 clear photographs of the product and packaging in order to proceed with the insurance claim process.

RETURN POLICY

Customers may request a return within 14 days from delivery.

To initiate a return, contact:

Return conditions:

  • products must be unused;

  • products should be returned safely packaged;

  • return shipping costs are covered by Giulio Pottery Studio;

  • only the product price will be refunded;

  • original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Custom-made or personalized items may not qualify for return.

Order cancellations are accepted before shipment.

Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.

HANDMADE DISCLAIMER

Each piece is handmade individually.

Small variations in texture, glaze, dimensions, color, and finish are natural characteristics of artisanal production and make every object unique.

These variations are not considered defects.
